Quora Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Fraser to its board of directors. This strategic move strengthens our leadership team by recognising the critical role of our pre-construction department, a function that has been central to the company’s recent growth and success.
Tony’s journey with Quora Group began in 2017 when he joined as Estimating Manager. In this role, he was instrumental in developing the pre-construction department, implementing key improvements to our internal systems and procedures. This forward-thinking work directly increased our capacity to successfully secure and deliver increasingly complex and high-value projects. Tony’s contributions were a significant factor in Quora Group’s record £15 million turnover, a milestone achieved through major project wins.
Over the past few years, Tony’s team has been crucial in the pre-construction phase of several landmark projects, including the Bank House development on Newcastle’s Pilgrim Street and the Envision AESC Giga Factory in Sunderland. These large-scale contracts are a direct reflection of the meticulous planning and strategic foresight that Tony’s department brought to Quora Group. His ability to accurately estimate costs, minimise risks, and provide accurate financial and resource planning was essential for securing these projects and ensuring their efficient execution.
As we set our sights on our next milestone—a £20 million turnover—Tony’s new role on the board will be essential. He will continue to shape our pre-construction strategy, ensuring that our project pipelines remain robust and our operational procedures are aligned with our ambitious goals. This appointment underscores Quora Group’s commitment to internal talent development and our focus on a forward-looking, strategic approach to leadership.
