Marc’s journey in the mechanical industry began over 20 years ago, with hands-on roles that gave him a deep understanding of heating, ventilation, and commercial systems. Early in his career, he worked as a Pipefitter with companies such as Lorne Stewart PLC and OGN Group. This foundational experience allowed Marc to develop his technical skills and industry insights, which he has continually expanded upon throughout his career.
In 2015, Marc transitioned into a role as a Mechanical Estimator at Opus BSL, where he honed his project estimation and budgeting skills. This position was pivotal in his career development, equipping him with the financial and planning expertise necessary for managing large-scale mechanical projects. He then moved into a Project Engineer role at OPUS Building Services Limited, where he spent over six years managing complex engineering projects, overseeing technical execution, and building strong client relationships. His experience in this role gave him a comprehensive view of project management in the mechanical sector, enhancing his capabilities in both leadership and technical project delivery.
Academic Achievements and Continued Growth
In addition to his industry experience, Marc pursued further education to complement his practical skills. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Leadership from the University of Sunderland, graduating with first-class honours in 2021. This qualification, combined with his NVQ Level 3 in Heating and Ventilation Commercial Systems from Newcastle College, highlights his dedication to continuous improvement and his commitment to excelling in his field.
